I'm only giving it 1 star because I can't get it 0. As I type I've waited 25 minutes for my drink order and it's not that busy at all in a Sunday lunch. I dot want to even bother reviewing the food. I'm giving it 5 more minutes before I walk out. The food could be the best ever, who knows? It's being mailed from China apparently

I have gone her for years just because my son choses this place when it is his turn to pick. I'm pretty sure the only reason he likes it is just because of the mints he gets at the end. Oh yeah he is 4 and does not know anything about good food. Honestly the food is pretty poor. It is like they use inferior products and do not put any thought into the dishes. I don't even know what kind of food to call it. If I have to say something good then I would have to say the Sunday brunch is usually ok. Long and short is - Just keep on driving

Horrible. Save yourself and go to burger king, much better. Kitchen nightmares needs to fix this place.

This review is a combination of years past and modern time, but for modern day, I'd probably just go with "Meh". Back in the late 90s there was no "Cameron's" it was just "Inn On the Green", but what does "Cameron's" do to it? The answer is an astounding suck... no offense to the restaurant, because I've had plenty of good food there, but several of the recent changes (past 10 years) have not been good. I remember when I was younger, they would always have a large palette of cheddar cheese and crackers out to customers while they waited for the table, there was something about it that just gave it that very classy and nice feel. Very expensive lately, and the food is not what it used to be. My mother's 50th birthday party was here and some kids were being foolish, the manager wasn't too kind to them... for the love of God, they're kids. This restaurant does not get the seal of approval.

Service is extremely slow. We waited almost 30 mins just to get seated for a reservation. Then the food took another hour and a half for it to arrive! Then to top off the meal they first ran out of the desert we ordered, then ran out of the substituted desert, and never asked us if there was a third choice we wanted! Poor, poor management.

Went here for a friend's bridal shower lunch...typical salty hi-suburban cuisine overlooking a big ol' golf course...confusing cheese and cracker plate, featuring crumbled crackers in little cello packages, as if they were an afterthought? weird. my only real beef with this place was that there were flies buzzing around the 3-season room the event was held in...kind of icky. Both stars go to the pretty kickass mimosa I got upon arrival...

Made a reservation for a Saturday night, not necessary 1/2 the tables were empty. That alone is a sign, what decent restaurant on the South Shore isn't jammed on a Saturday night. Same experience as previous yelper - reservation made requested "sun room" was told the all the tables there were full, I can see for myself more than 1/2 are empty, hostess tells me they are already reserved. Sit inside no big deal. Had the Chicken Bracioletini very very salty, fellow diners had Shrimp Orvieto - that was a good dish. Needless to say we get ready to leave, no other diners ever sat in the before mentioned reserved seats in the "sun room". No one ever apologized for their mix up. Won't be back again, too many good restaurants on the South Shore to waste time here. Had to laugh - checked off takes reservations just doesn't honor them.

Well - we;ve had dinner there and it was just okay - my husband loves it because it's close, and food is plentiful. Quality not so great, used to have a nice Sunday brunch - not so much any more - agree with keep driving!!! Pudding was congealled, and had weird chemical flavor, they did pull the whole batch after I complained!! No waffles, eggs benedict, eggs ok - english unable to cut. Just has gone down, down down, no more gift certificates for here and will not willingly return. Sorry Cameron's - you just got crossed off my list of places to eat locally.

Carmeron's on the Green is like a Chevy with a Cadillac hood ornament. I've gone out to eat here with my parents. That's the only reason I'd come here. It's a decent setting to have dinner with mom and dad. You wouldn't come here on a date, or to have some beers with the guys. The food is nothing to write home about, and the atmosphere is a little too stuffy.

Disappointing! I had made reservations for a Saturday night on the "outside patio" (three season patio). Arrive and am told "Uhhh no one wrote it down so no you can't sit out there" Mind you there are more than half of the tables open but fine! The food was ehh...I ordered a budlight draft and she brought a bottle. When we would ask for more drinks or anything she seemed annoyed with us. When we left those tables out on the patio were still open. Probably will never come back

Excellent! Food was great and new owner was very kind and welcoming. Service was good. We were well attended too yet did not feel rushed despite it being Friday night. It is a beautiful spot on a nice night with the views of the golf course. My only wish is that they could offer some sort of outdoor seating. It is a nice step up from the usual bars/restaurants in the area.

Came here on Fathers Day and found it really good, service was great, drinks and food were really good. Restaurant was clean. Enjoyed it enough to come on and review surprised to see the bad reviews, guess I came in a good day. Definitley would come back hopefully it's just as good!

I am happy to report that Hubby and I went to Cameron's 3 or 4 times this spring to enjoy their "Wine Not" dinner special. This includes a bottle of featured wine (my choice was available on the menu for $18 / btl.), bread, 2 salads, 2 of the featured entrees (3 offered) & coffee or tea. And they will "Doggie Bag" the wine for you, if you wish. We had delicious beef and good seafood, with nice side veggies. Very pleasant and relaxing dinner after work!
